 Iuri joined BTG Pactual in 1995 and became a partner in 2001. From 2001 through 2014 Iuri has held various senior roles at the firm, including General Counsel of BTG Pactual and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Banco Pan (a BTG subsidiary). Since 2014 Iuri has led BTG Pactual’s ESG initiatives as a member of BTG Pactual’s Senior Management team. Iuri currently serves on the Landscape Capital Investment Committee. Iuri is also the Chairman and President (of the Deliberative Committee) of Conservation International Brazil and is the Founder and President of Instituto Bacuri (an NGO focused on children’s education and environmental issues, such as reforestation). He is also a board member of Instituto V5 (an NGO focused on culture and education projects) and Parceiros Voluntários (an NGO focused on social issues and volunteer activities), and an ambassador of Ballet Paraisopolis. Iuri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (with a specialization in Business Law) from the University of São Paulo and also holds an LLM – Master of Law (International Finance) from King´s College London, University of London.
