Who We Are
Landscape Capital is a division of the BTG Pactual Timberland Investment Group (TIG) that is working to accelerate the transition to the regenerative economy by seeking to deliver natural climate solutions at scale.
We aim to bridge the gap between nature’s potential to help address climate change, and what has been delivered on-the-ground to date, through investments that leverage the multiplier benefits of climate-positive reforestation.
Landscape Capital combines this climate ambition with TIG’s 40 years’ experience delivering large-scale commercial reforestation, and deep ESG and sustainability expertise [1].

Meet Our Team
Mark Wishnie
Mark heads BTG’s Landscape Capital and provides overall leadership on sustainability policy and performance for the BTG Pactual Timberland Investment Group (TIG).
Gerrity Lansing
Gerrity provides overall strategic and business leadership for the BTG Pactual Timberland Investment Group (TIG), and is a Managing Director and Partner of BTG Pactual.
Charlotte Kaiser
Charlotte Kaiser serves as Head of Impact Finance, where she leads efforts to source, structure and execute impact-focused transactions, as well as build and strengthen partnerships with the conservation community and other key stakeholders.
Iuri Rapoport
Iuri leads BTG Pactual’s ESG initiatives as a member of BTG Pactual’s Senior Management team; he currently serves on the Landscape Capital Investment Committee.
Matheus Moura
Matheus is the Head of LatAm Transactions and Investment Management and is responsible for timberland origination, acquisitions and general transaction efforts within TIG.
Carlos Guerreiro
Carlos is the Head of LatAm Operations within BTG Pactual’s Timberland Investment Group; he is responsible for developing and executing silvicultural practices for all Latin American operations.
Mitchell Kosches
Mitch oversees all phases of transaction execution and investment management within TIG.
Esben Brandi
Esben supports distribution efforts in Europe with more than 20 years of experience in global timberland investment.
Rodrigo Bandeira
Rodrigo is responsible for managing client relationships and capital formation efforts for both Landscape Capital and TIG, and he also leads the development of Landscape Capital’s climate-positive forestry investment strategy.
Caitlin Clarke
Caitlin represents TIG and Landscape Capital in civil society, multistakeholder, and industry initiatives focused on the role of responsible forestry in delivering climate-positive results.
Owen Orloff
Owen supports TIG’s climate-and impact-focused investment initiatives, where he is responsible for leading on financial analysis, structuring, and client engagement.
Maria Uquillas
Maria is principally responsible for TIG’s distribution and marketing efforts. She also works on the development of Landscape’s impact reporting strategy and supports TIG’s ESG programs.
Will Cembalest
Will supports TIG’s distribution and research efforts and advances Landscape Capital’s research and business development initiatives.
Zack Chaudhry
Zack supports distribution, marketing and strategic development efforts for TIG and Landscape Capital.
