Owen is focused on TIG’s climate-and impact-focused investment initiatives, where he is responsible for leading on financial analysis, structuring, and client engagement. He began his career as an investment banker, out of Seabury Capital’s New York office, where he advised publicly traded companies, financial sponsors and governments on M&A, capital raising and financial restructuring transactions. Owen joined the firm’s merchant bank, where he participated in the de novo launch of Zephyrus Aviation Capital, a commercial aircraft leasing platform with ~$500M USD in assets. After Seabury and prior to joining BTG Pactual, Owen worked at a private credit investor in the renewable energy space as a Senior Associate, where he was responsible for capital markets, strategy and underwriting initiatives. Owen holds a B.A. in economics and a B.A. in political science from the University of Rochester.
